Decorated Candles

What with a busy run up to Christmas I didn't get round to sharing the candles I decorated as gifts for Sophie's Teachers, so here they are!
I used some Vanilla and some Berry scented candles,paper from Paper Artsy, lace, flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and stickles.Then I wrapped the finished candles in cellophane and tied with some raffia, I was pleased with the overall effect!

Altered Journal

Christmas Daily 2010

Like many other people I made a Christmas countdown journal. It is now finally finished as this year I took it through to New Years Eve as it is my son's birthday then. This slide show shows a selection of pages from the journal. I haven't shown it all 1) it would be a long slide show and 2)there are pictures of friends and family who I have not asked permission to show.
Anyhow I hope this gives you and idea of the journal. Now it can be put away until next christmas!

TP Roll Vintage Christmas Album

This is an album I made from empty loo roll tubes, before christmas for a swap I hosted on the scrapbeach. As it has now arrived at its destination I thought I would show the video of it here. Please excuse the noisy bird in the bacground he feels he has to compete with me lol!

Walking In A Winter Wonderland

Sorry I know I have been a bad blogger! Things have been very up and down since loosing my mum. Dad has spent lots of tme with us and I haven't had time to catch up one everything! Lets hope the new year will be different!
Anyhow we did get a visit to the Winter Wonderland before christmas. Made even more magical by the fact that there was a scattering of snow on the ground!
